Ministry
of Healing
Why
is there a different Ministry for this?
We believe that healing can come about through your own prayers
and the prayers of others. We also understand that there are
also people, upon which, God has bestowed the specific spiritual
gift of Healing. Their role is more defined to safely facilitate
healing to the people who need it. This may be from a single
specific thing to a more holistic approach, covering anything
from relief from physical pain, distress, emotional trauma,
to any healing for mind, body or spirit.
How
we work
We have strict guidelines and we work through the gift of
prayer, asking for protection and permission, using
methods that are comfortable for the person receiving the
healing. We also use Jesus's own healing ministry as documented
in the bible as our model such as anointing and laying
on hands. Our experienced facilitators have also completed additional
training to more fully equip them for the many different healing
situations that they may encounter. They are supported by
the Pastor and the rest of the Prayer
Ministry.
